HOPKINTON, RI – A woman was killed and three other people suffered injuries resulting from a major crash in Hopkinton on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Providence Journal, the crash occurred at about 2:34 p.m. when a Jeep and a Chevrolet Tahoe collided head-on along Spring Street.
One passenger in the Jeep, 88-year-old Elisabeth Thayer, died inthe crash. Her daughter, who was driving the Jeep, was taken to a nearby hospital with internal injuries.
Two occupants in the Chevrolet were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
