WARWICK, RI – A teen is dead following a hit-and-run collision on I-95, according to WCVB.
Aramis Segura, 30, was driving a Mercedes at high speeds when he rear-ended a Nissan Altima operated by the victim, an unidentified 17-year-old.

The impact sent the Nissan across multiple lanes, onto the shoulder, down an embankment, and into a tree before it rolled over and came to a rest on its roof.

Segura’s Mercedes spun multiple times before coming to rest in the breakdown lane. He then fled the area on foot.

First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 1 a.m. They pronounced the juvenile dead at the scene.

Investigators identified Segura as the hit-and-run driver and located him at his home on Sunday. He has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, obstruction of justice, operating on a suspended driver’s license, and driving to endanger resulting in death.
