EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – A man was arrested after crashing into several vehicles and injuring an officer in East Providence Monday.
According to WPRI, Albert Rosario, 32, was shoplifting at a Seekonk Home Depot when he fled authorities in his vehicle.
He hit an officer and attempted to drive into a second officer while fleeing.
Rosario drove into East Providence where he crashed into several cars and flipped his vehicle on Warren Avenue.
The injured officer was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.
