News Update: Second victim involved in Raynham crash dies

RAYNHAM, MA – The man who was seriously injured in a collision on I-495 in Raynham has died, NECN reports.

The collision, which involved two tractor-trailers, two pickup trucks, and an SUV occurred sometime before noon near the exit to MA-138.

One of the drivers involved, 62-year-old Lauren A. Dyer, was pronounced dead a the crash site.

Police say a second victim, 57-year-old Christopher L. Sheppard, got out of his pickup truck and was hit by an oncoming vehicle. He was rushed to hospital in Rhode Island, where he succumbed to his injuries some time later.
