Authorities investigating overnight Providence car fire

PROVIDENCE, RI – Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle fire in Providence early Friday, reports WPRI.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. at South Water Street. Crews found a BMW with a scorched front end and the back windshield was blown out.

A witness saw a man on the scene being questioned by police.

What led up to the fire or whether anyone was hurt has not yet been released.
