Accident on RI-37 delays motorists in SW Cranston

CRANSTON, RI – Drivers in the Cranston area faced delays resulting from a crash on RI-37 on Thursday afternoon, Rhode Island DoT reports.

The accident happened at about 4:38 p.m. on the westbound side of the highway near the exit to Pontiac Avenue.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, at least one lane was shut down as a result, causing traffic delays in the area.
