Teenage girl hospitalized after being hit by speeding motorcycle in Fall River

FALL RIVER, MA – A 15-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized after she was struck by a motorcycle while crossing the street in Fall River on Saturday night.

According to the Fall River Reporter, the incident took place close to 7:15 pm on the 200 Block of William S. Canning Boulevard when an 27-year-old male on a motorcycle struck the pedestrian at a high rate of speed.

Responders took the teenager to Hasbro Children’s hospital where she was treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

The motorcyclist received citations for speeding and negligent driving.
