Former Fall River Man Killed in DUI Pedestrian Crash

BOSTON, MA – A man was killed after he was hit by a drunk driver while crossing a downtown Boston street on Monday.

According to the Fall River Reporter, Abana Cabrera, 36, was driving a Hyundai Elantra when she struck the pedestrian near 75 Kneeland Street.

The victim was identified as Richard Mullins, of Attleboro, formerly a Fall River resident. He was taken to Tufts Medical Center where he later died.

Cabrera was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury, OUI alcohol as a second offense, and failure to stop or yield.
